Jim Agha grew up in the heyday of the 60s and 70s and fell in love with the cars before and of the time. His passion for cars led him to not only become an avid car collector and restorer but also the Co-Founder of VCCCP and its first president for 20 years.
Although the late Jim Agha has left a lasting legacy in VCCCP that continues to endure, his larger than life personality was responsible for inspiring many others to follow in his same footsteps i.e. collecting vintage cars and breathing new life into them so they can be enjoyed and admired.
Jim Agha founded VCCCP and owned a number of classic cars such as 1) Cadillac Sedan De Ville 1956 (co owned with Mohsin Ikram) , 2) Chevrolet Impala Convertible 1964, 3) Cadillac Eldorado 1955, 5) Austin Shirline 1949 , 6) Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible 1956 Impala and his pride and joy which he loved and cared for till his last days – The 1949 Riley Roadster which was one of its kind. Apart from cars, Jim was also big into bikes, he owned and rode 1) Indian Chief 1942, 2) Harley Davidson Hydra Glide 1949, 3) Norton Jubilee 1961, 4) Cushman Scooter 1948.
Jim Agha’s goal for creating VCCCP was that others could share and enjoy this unique hobby and promote and encourage the salvaging of vintage cars and bring their beauty and joy for everyone to delight in.
Today his legacy is celebrated through the continuous expansion of the club and as more enthusiasts join and take part in this unique hobby of collecting and showcasing the beautiful automobiles of a time gone by but not forgotten.
His legacy continues with his nephew Ahmed Agha following his footsteps.
