1969 Jaguar MK2 from the final year of production
Lovingly restored as left from the factory with a completely original interior, matching numbers throughout
What lends particular provenance to this car is it’s ownership history, in 1972 a nuclear physicist and metallurgical engineer visited London for a deep study of centrifuge technology. The young man had an eye for fine design and technology and at the time, this Jaguar was cutting edge in both attracting the attention of the young physicist.
The person we’re talking about was Dr. A.Q. Khan who immediate fell in love with and purchased the vehicle. He brought the Jaguar back to Pakistan and cherished the vehicle for over 3 decades before letting go of it.
