1926 RENAULT CV40 TYPE MC
This is a 9123cc engine car that was designed by Wendower coach builders that were famous Rolls Royce body and coach builders. This particular vehicle was specially made for the Nawab of Bahawalpur to his specifications and had special brakes also installed given that it was a super car of its time. Later this car got sold and currently is with another antique car enthusiast and collector. Still it is in great condition and runs well though it is very carefully and very little driven. It’s a very rare and wanted car globally but its a pride to have it here in Pakistan.
In its country of origin France, this largest Renault was frequently used by the President of the Republique, from the earliest 1908 50CV, through to the Type NM of 1925 to 1928. The Type MC was the penultimate large Renault, produced from 1924 until 1926 as the MC 1. Power came from a 6-cylinder 9,123cc engine, and the Type MC was built on a wheelbase of 3.8 metres or 3.99 metres. The MC was the first Renault to carry the diamond badge. The Type NM was introduced in 1924 and production ended in 1928 when the Type RM Reinastella with 8-cylinder engine replaced the MC/NM.
